Notification of admission results
Admission to Laurea’s English‑taught programmes is based on the entrance examination or SAT test results.
Programme‑specific selection methods are listed on the selection criteria page. For the Spring 2026 joint application, results will be published no later than 27 May 2026.
Tuition fee information
If you are a non‑EU/EEA citizen required to pay tuition fees:
- You will receive payment instructions together with the conditional admission notification.
- Your admission remains conditional until Laurea has verified your eligibility and received your tuition fee payment.
If your residence status changes and you are no longer required to pay tuition fees, submit the relevant documents (passport or residence permit) to Laurea Admissions before the deadline for confirming your study place.
Confirm your study place
To accept your offered study place, you must confirm it no later than 9 July 2026 (spring 2026 joint application).
If you do not confirm by the deadline, you will lose your right to enroll.
You can confirm your place through My Studyinfo (requires Finnish bank codes) or via the personal link sent to your email.
Please note that once you confirm a study place, you will not be considered a first‑time applicant in future application rounds. This affects only programmes taught in Finnish.
Register for the academic year
After confirming your place, you must also register as present or absent.
If you are a tuition fee–paying non‑EU/EEA student:
- You will be registered as present only after Laurea has received your tuition fee payment for the first academic year.
- If you do not pay the fee or fail to register, you will lose your study entitlement.
Reserve list and supplementary application
If you pass the entrance exam or SAT test but your score is not high enough for immediate admission, you may be placed on a reserve list.
Your reserve list number will be included in your results letter.
Students may be admitted from the reserve list until 4 August 2026 (spring joint application).
If there are still free study places after the joint application, Laurea may open a supplementary application period. Any additional application periods will be announced on Laurea’s website and on Studyinfo.fi.
Start your studies
For the autumn joint application, studies begin in January/February.
Specific starting dates and instructions for new students are published on Laurea’s New Students pages.
